Mulberry Learning Centre’s award-winning curriculum to be modelled in Cleverest Education.
Singapore, 17 November 2017 – Mulberry Learning Centre’s award-winning curriculum will be implemented in Cleverest Education in January 2018 in Costa del Este. This implementation will be the first of its kind to be offered in Latin America and the Caribbean. Cleverest will be taking the first step in a continent-wide effort in establishing early childhood education in the Straits in the Americas.
During the pre-opening ceremony, Panama’s Deputy Secretary of Social Development, Michelle Muschett said, “It is essential for early education to be well-planned in order to improve the current education efforts and develop confident and happy human beings.”
Global EduHub’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) Peh Yi Han gave an insight to how education has been the cornerstone of Singapore’s extraordinary progress. “Generally, classrooms in Singapore are highly-scripted and uniform across all levels. Teaching is coherent, purpose-driven and pragmatic, drawing on a range of pedagogical traditions. However, exams are slowly becoming a thing of the past. Young children are increasingly being encouraged to express themselves, discover the world around them and get creative, in order to prepare them for jobs that have not yet been created and technologies yet to be invented. In short, Singapore’s education system and Mulberry Learning’s curriculum are nurturing future-ready children.”
