SUSAN SIM

HEAD OF R&D (TRAINING AND CURRICULUM)

Mdm Susan Sim is the Head of R&D (Training & Curriculum) at Global EduHub. In her role, she spearheads the research and development of staff training programmes and curricular materials across all brands in the Childcare and Student Care sectors. Prior to joining Global EduHub, she was a certified Gifted Education programme teacher with Singapore’s Ministry of Education and subsequently held the position of a Head of Department (Science) and Head of Department (School Staff Developer) in various Primary Schools in Singapore. She was also part of the curriculum team that was instrumental in the implementation of the 2008 Primary Science Syllabus during her time as a Curriculum Planning Officer at MOE Headquarters. With over 20 years in the education industry, Mdm Sim believes strongly in the professional development of preschool educators and student care mentors.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from York University and holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (Primary Education) and Master in Education (Primary Education) from the National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU). She has embarked on the Doctor in Education (EdD) programme, researching on play-based learning with NIE, NTU.
